As a pioneer in our industry, we have been striving to achieve the highest levels of quality from the very first time that we opened our doors all those years ago, and we consider quality management to be an integral part of our company policy. We would like to explain certain aspects in greater detail below.
We firmly believe that the quality of the end product is determined by the extent of our influence over the production process. We invest annually in the areas of development, procurement, milling and filling – with the objective of improving the quality of our products on an ongoing basis.
We continue to evolve and develop through consistent compliance with and improvement of the defined processes. Quality controls throughout the entire production process – from supplier audits in the region of origin, through to outgoing inspections on our premises in Hünenberg – help us to do so. These controls also include numerous microbiological, chemical and physical tests, the majority of which are carried out by our in-house laboratory.
We require sufficient resources to be able to manufacture premium-quality products, whether they are spices, herbs or blends created exactly in accordance with customer requirements. For this reason, we regularly check our production process – milling, filling plant, IT and much more – and carry out ongoing improvements if they do not meet our high standards.
Our plants for processing, refining and packaging spices are not the only aspects of our company that are state-of-the-art. We also invest consistently in a good working environment. This includes measures to improve occupational safety, as well as the ongoing education and training of our employees at all levels.
