Spice labelling
Salt consists naturally of potassium and chloride ions, which are packed together as a crystal. Sea salt develops in water baths on the coasts through natural evaporation.
Taste
Salt does not have a smell. it is one of the 5 basic tastes and lends every dish a "salty" note.
