Spice labelling
The seed corns that are separated from the fruit are used as seasoning. They are obtained from completely ripe, red-coloured fruits that have been detached from panicle, then bagged or bottled in special receptales and "steeped" under running water for 10 to 12 days.
Taste
The smell and taste of white pepper is bitingly hot, warm and aromatic. White peppercorns are the hottest; however, they have a slightly weaker aroma than black pepper.
